A Sergeant in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, Green Beret and Ranger School Instructor, he sustained wounds on a Middle East peacekeeping mission for NATO that forced him to retire with an honorable discharge. The experience propelled Craig Gallagher forward and led him to numerous accomplishments both small and large. Dedicated to his community, he has shared his success with a plethora of charities and worthy causes, including the Hudson Police Athletic League. For his 10 years of leadership, the Police Athletic Association bestowed the Youth Organization Recognition award on Craig Gallagher. He completed coursework in business marketing at South Hampton College of Long Island University and received a B.A. in Business Marketing and Economics at Strayer University graduating Magna-Cum-Laude.
